That’s where we come in. Stage 32 is here to help you turn the story, journey, or theme in your mind into a sellable script that connects with it's audience. In this interactive Stage 32 8-week lab, you will take your idea for a great film and turn it into a completed feature film screenplay. 

Guiding and teaching you along the way is professional screenwriter AZ Yeamen, writer on the successful AMC ALLBLK miniseries COVENANT. AZ has a track record of helping writers level-up their careers through her company, Bridge 17. AZ will teach you the fundamentals of writing a great script by creating compelling characters with unique voices and a propulsive story structure. She'll also show you how to connect with audiences before your project is ever produced by showing you how to use your authentic voice to connect emotionally with producers, representatives, and executives. AZ will give you the same tips, tricks, and techniques used by countless professional screenwriters and will work directly with you, including in one-on-one sessions, to implement them into your own script.

Over 8 intensive weeks, you will learn the essential tenets of writing an emotionally complex story, how to develop your craft and you will write your screenplay to completion.

You will work in a small, intimate class setting with your fellow writers - a safe creative space to explore your storytelling - and you will receive direct ad constructive feedback from AZ. AZ also provides you with handouts of her methods and will have you put the lessons in the handouts into action with weekly assignments.

You'll also receive a one-on-one consultation about your writing voice, your script, and your needs with AZ. And if you ever need a refresher on the techniques learned with AZ, you'll have access to this information on-demand in the "My Education" tab of your Stage 32 profile.
