Learn directly from Lindsay Mcgrail, Award-Winning Technical Consultant (Gone Girl, Entourage The Movie, Shameless, and Leverage)!
Whether you are an actor, producer, director, writer or part of the creative team, it is the collective objective that every scene be remarkably detailed. Whether it's setting up the correct tools on a doctor's tray for an ER scene, or ensuring the right courtroom employees are present during a trial scene, attention to detail is what can make or break the authenticity of a scene.
The art of technical film consulting is a push and pull between this factual vision and the fantastical realm of the filmmaker. No matter what the budget, it is not always necessary to just chase large scale accuracy. Instead, a focus needs to be on making every scene as detailed and evocative as possible.
From professionals to brand new filmmakers with little or no budget, begin the great habit of making sure your work is authentic and credible. Care enough about your project to get it right and arm your team with knowledge. Since nothing beats going to the source for accurate information, Stage 32 has brought you Lindsay Mcgrail - Hollywood's go-to woman for technical consultation!
In this Stage 32 Next Level Webinar, Lindsay Mcgrail will take you through the process of the art of film and TV consulting and technical advising. Lindsay will cover everything from how to hire a technical advisor, to how to be authentic without prior knowledge of a topic, to what a beta reader is and why you need one, to what to consider when you first sit down to write the script, plus much, much more.
