When you start a film project, it inevitably has a set of challenges and demands. As a cinematographer, you must use the tools at your disposal to translate the director’s vision onto the screen. This involves craft, creativity and technical know-how. The more technically experienced you are as a cinematographer,  the more likely you are to make the right decisions in picking the equipment best suited for the task at hand. There is no right or wrong when picking equipment.
