Being a great director is all about having a cohesive vision and clear communication to execute it. This Your vision is not only on set but starts from development through post-production. Whether you're directing a big-budget blockbuster, an episode of TV, or your first micro-budget independent feature, your creative vision and how you communicate it is the foundation you build on. 

In four sessions, accomplished director Heath Cullens will show you how to be an effective director through preparation, strategy, discipline, and overall understanding of your responsibilities and how best to perform them while also being creatively fulfilled. You will develop your own visual style and point of view, have an understanding of your overall role as director, go through everything involved in pre-production, know how to communicate with your cast and crew, determine when you've "got the shot," and have the knowledge needed to work with your editor and receive notes from producers and investors.
