Making a feature film is an endeavor filled with a tremendous amount of detail and planning, especially when it comes to delivering the finished product for distribution. Whether you are delivering your feature film to a theatrical distributor, a global streaming service, a broadcast or cable TV network, or you are self-distributing the film yourself, understanding how to deliver a feature film with all of the contractual, legal and technical assets in order is a critical skill set that every producer needs to understand.  

In this certification course, you will learn an overview of exactly how a feature film is delivered.

What is Individual Certification?

Individual Certification is a single course centered around one subject. Upon the completion of this course you will be Stage 32 Certified in this area of production. (To be Master Certified in a particular area of expertise, please see the Master Certification section of the platform.)

After viewing the course you will be given a test of your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter. You have the ability to pause your course and go back to review sections as you are learning. You will be given three attempts to take the test. If you do not pass the test after the third time you will need to re-enroll in the course.

Once you pass the test you will be issued a Stage 32 Certificate recognizing your efforts in passing the course. You will also be listed in our master database accessible by film commissions, productions and any executives who are looking for talent. You will also receive a Stage 32 Certification badge that will be added to your Stage 32 profile, so people who are hiring on Stage 32 will know that you have completed a Stage 32 Certification course. In addition to Stage 32, we highly recommend you post your Stage 32 Certificate on your LinkedIn and other social media profiles.

About the Instructor

Tatiana Kelly is an Independent Spirit Award-nominated producer who has produced over two dozen feature films and television shows consistently with Oscar-nominated talent. She got her big break with the Sundance hit WRISTCUTTERS: A LOVE STORY.

Some of her prolific library of films include THE WORDS starring Oscar-winner Bradley Cooper, CUT THROAT CITY starring Oscar-nominee Ethan Hawke and Oscar-nominee Terrence Howard, THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY starring Oscar-nominee Dev Patel, THE CATCHER WAS A SPY starring Paul Rudd and many more. Tatiana made her directorial debut with the feature documentary THE PEOPLE VS. VEGAS DAVE. 

Tatiana excels in producing material based on pre-existing IP and has had many of her films premiere at major film festivals such as Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, and Tribeca Film Festival. She’s also worked with major networks and studios including MTV and Lionsgate. Kelly holds a Master’s Degree from the London School of Economics and she speaks five languages.
