You have faced it many times — and wondered — how do I sell my creation to audiences? How do I pack the house? How do I get the good profits?

Think about it. You already know the answer. You know how the big studios do it. They have …

PR, and Promotion, lots of it.

Media coverage. Articles. Interviews. Your Clips floating out there in public view.

And yes, really good trailers that the media WANT to show, because your creation is their story now, and they want to tell that story.

Did you know that this scenario does not have to cost a lot of money, and it is not just for the big players? You can do it too. You also can even get the “earned” media coverage (the kind you earn when they write about you and interview you). That’s the best kind. Usually free. Powerful. Credible.

You can also learn to leverage the “paid” media coverage like a pro, getting a huge bang for your buck. And you can learn which promotional materials work, and which don’t.

How do you do PR anyway? I have lots of questions:

“That sounds good, but getting PR, especially the “free” kind, has always seemed like a mystery to me.”

“Do I need a professional publicist? Do I need a huge budget? Can an inexperienced producer do PR? How do I run an entire promotion campaign?”

“How can this help me get into festivals?”

“Most of all, how do I get the public to be curious?” (Remember, if the public is curious, the media will be curious and will want to know about you and your work and will likely come to you to get the story.)

Here at Stage 32 we have a solution for you. A 16-hour Lab in 8 sessions with one-on-one mentoring.

Below are the details of the CREATING PUBLICITY PLAN lab. Remember, this is a lab, not just an online class. It is made up of eight 2-hour sessions, for a total of 16 hours. The lab meets at fixed times (see schedule on this page) It is interactive. It is limited to 15 participants only. (So Hurry!) You will learn from one of the recognized masters in PR and promotion, Janine McGoldrick. Jane is a 20-year PR veteran who has worked with greats including supervising publicity for three divisions at HBO. She has successfully promoted such films as the Academy Award-winning film THE SALESMAN, CHURCHILL (starring Brian Cox and John Slattery), FACES PLACES, and many others. She is executive-level. She has helped launch some of the most exciting releases in film, television, and home entertainment, working with Universal Pictures and Artisan Entertainment and former clients Lionsgate, BBC, Hart-Sharp, New Line, and others.

The benefits to you:

  • You will learn from a true master.
  • You will do interactive work, in a small lab setting (this offer is limited to 15 participants).
  • You will experience how doing PR is not a mysterious science, but a creative art, and something you can easily understand.
  • You will create a story about your story, with talking points — and identify the venues to take that promotional story public, just as the PR pros do.
  • You will learn tools of the PR trade — How to pitch to reporters and tv news producers (and what kind of content they look for) — how to leverage your participation with the media, and yes, how to use those talking points.
  • You will create a campaign plan for your project.
  • You will share an immersive experience with 14 other lab participants. The total time together will be 16 hours total of intense learning. And finally, the benefit we all are after:
  • You will have the opportunity to move to an entirely new level of Promotion and Profits.
