One of the most important skills you will need as an Assistant Director is to know how to build a production schedule and how that production schedule is utilized to keep your production on time and running smoothly. This certification module will explain the various iterations of schedule documents used during production including a one-line schedule, a shooting schedule, and the various day out of days (dood) documents that help track all of the elements required for a successful production. This certification module will also discuss theoretical things that always impact schedules, as well as examples of events that can disrupt the schedule, and how you, as an Assitant Director, will work through all circumstances to keep your production running on schedule.
