Brenda Wachel is an accomplished and sought-after script supervisor with over 30 years of experience and credits on some of the biggest films of all time, including JURASSIC PARK 3, OCTOBER SKY, BRIGHT, COLLATERAL, FURIOUS 7, and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER. She has worked with countless directors like Paul Haggis, Joe Johnston, Michael Mann, David Ayer, Tim Robbins, and Terry Gilliam and continues to serve as script supervisor for projects like Amazon’s just released Jennifer Lopez’s THIS IS ME … NOW: A LOVE STORY, and Apple TV’s upcoming historical drama CHIEF OF WAR.
In this interactive 5-part lab, Brenda will work directly with you to break down and refine your shot lists for the opening, transitions, and climactic scenes of your film. Each week, you’ll refine your shots, receive personalized feedback, and prepare for a one-on-one consultation with Brenda, where you’ll make final revisions to your work. This hands-on, collaborative environment will not only give you the tools to elevate your project but also help you keep your production on track, saving you time and ensuring a smoother editing process. By the end of the lab, you’ll walk away with a polished, refined shot list for your opening, transitions, and climactic scenes, as well as personalized feedback that will elevate your project!

This interactive Stage 32 class is held on Zoom and goes substantially more in depth than a Stage 32 webinar. Best of all? As soon as you sign up you will be linked on email with your Stage 32 Educator and given a questionnaire to fill out and send back to them. You will have access to your Educator for the duration of your class by email to ask them any questions you have about your craft or career - it’s like having a mentor on demand! And, if you can't make a live session, don't worry! All class recordings will be available 48 hours after each session and you will be able to view them in your Library on your Stage 32 profile. Finally, you can expand your network with like-minded creatives - you'll have a dedicated lounge for interactive support and discussions with your fellow classmates!
